Here are just a few dates for your diaries: In March there will be an Easter arts and crafts event for the kids. In conjunction with our Friends at The Barn, May-hem in The Garden will happen Saturday, May 14. The Halloween Hoedown will be in full swing Saturday, October 29, with more info nearer the time. Congratulations to The Barn team on gaining permission to develop a community garden on site. The plans look amazing and it will be a great attraction and resource for Easington. Healthworks is starting its free instructor-led Buggy Walk on Tuesday, March 1, from 10.30am to 11.30am. Please note: for safety reasons, children must remain in the buggy at all times during the walk. Meet at Healthworks reception.

Easter Family fun day will again take place at the Barn at Easington on Saturday, March 26, from 10.30am to 12.30am. Activities will include egg painting and Easter gardens plus the famous Barn Egg rolling championships. Come in fancy dress and the best Easter outfit wins a night in one of the static caravans. Tickets are £3 for adults and children under-five free. To book your tickets, email [email protected]

Easington C of E Primary School thanks those families who supported the toy sale, either by donating toys or buying toys during the sale. They raised £160, which will be put into the school fund.

A bereavement session for parents will be led by the Reverend Emma on Thursday at 5.15pm in Easington C of E Primary School.

A Lent course leading to Easter, using the C S Lewis Voyage of the Dawn Treader, will be held in St Mary’s Church each Wednesday from February 24 until March 23 from 5.30pm- 6.30pm, followed by coffee and questions.
