Plans are in place for a fundraising day for Macmillan Cancer at Easington Colliery Social Welfare Centre on Sunday, July 24, with various events for children. It will be attended by the fire service and local police. This will be hosted by Andrew Price in memory of his father, Terry Price, who died last year. Richard Parker was invited to attend a Macmillan volunteer’s conference and awards in Leicester. A fantastic weekend getting a deeper insight into what Macmillan can do for people.
