The RNLI guild members from Sunderland Lifeboat Station will be collecting at Morrisons' Seaburn store throughout today and tomorrow.

They will be manning a fundraising stall between 9.30am and 6pm and are urging people to go along and support them.

A spokesman for the station, said: "It cost around £460,000 a day to run the RNLI nationally. Any amount you donate will be gratefully received and will help to save lives at sea. Thank you."
