“It is a community pub where everyone sticks together, so it is really nice of the customers to vote for us and it is great to be recognised.”

Mr Lamb has been owner of the pub for the last 23 years and boasts an impressive 33 years in the pub industry.
He puts the success of The Dolphin down to its strong links with the community, with customers aged between 18 to 90 years old.

“It is a real community pub that sees a mix of ages come along - from grandads to their grandsons - it keeps everyone together.

“I want to thank all of our customers and staff who have helped us win this award.”
