Delays on Metro system after train is withdrawn
People are facing delays on the Tyne and Wear Metro system this morning.
The delay is due to a train being withdrawn between South Hylton in Sunderland Pelaw.
It is causing a wait of 15 minutes.
In a tweet, Metro said: "We have a gap in the service of up to 15 mins to trains running between South Hylton and Pelaw due to a train being withdrawn."
