Delays on Metro after train withdrawn from service in Sunderland
Metro passengers are facing delays after a train was withdrawn from service in the Sunderland area.
There is a gap of up to 20 minutes in the service between South Hylton and South Gosforth.
A tweet from Metro said: "A train has been withdrawn from service at South Hylton.
"Due to this we have a gap in the service of up to 20 minutes to trains running between South Hylton and South Gosforth.
"Please leave extra time for your journey if you're travelling in the area."
