Delays hit Metro service after train is withdrawn

Passengers using the Metro service are facing delays this morning.

The service has said there is a gap in the service of up to 15 minutes between South Hylton and Pelaw due to a drain being withdrawn.

It has also said that it only has one short peak service train from Pelaw to Regent Centre and then Monkseaton operating due to faults.
