Washington man found not guilty of attack after no evidence is offered to court

A Washington man has been cleared of a charges of assault and making threats.

Not guilty pleas were recorded for Nathan Dodds, 22, of Tyne Gardens in Concord, after the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence at Newcastle Crown Court.

He had been charged with unlawful malicious wounding and making threats to destroy or damage property.

That followed an inquiry by Northumbria Police launched on Saturday, March 13, after a North East Ambulance Service crew on a separate call out found an injured 20-year-old in Tyne Gardens.
