Threatening behaviour, driving while disqualified, speeding and other recent Sunderland court cases

The following cases from the Sunderland area were dealt with recently at magistrates’ court:

Defendants pleaded guilty unless otherwise stated:

Jordan Shaun Healy, 24, of Stratfield Street, was given a six-month conditional discharge for using threatening behaviour.

Patrick McLaughlin, 22, of Hartford Road, was sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment, suspended for a year, and given a year’s driving ban for driving while disqualified and using a vehicle without insurance.

Stuart Anthony Jeffrey, 59, of Witton Court, Tunstall, was fined £85 with three penalty points for speeding and failing to wear a seat belt.

Keiran Greener, 24, of Floral Dene, was fined £290 and banned for six months for driving without a valid licence and using a vehicle without insurance.

Rahat Hussain, 20, of Salisbury Street, was fined £1,100 with eight penalty points after being convicted in his absence of driving without due care and attention and using a vehicle without insurance.

Siad Arfan Hussain, 18, of St Mark’s Road, was fined £120 with six penalty points for driving without a valid licence and using a vehicle without insurance or test certificate.

Lee Robson, 33, of Gravesend Road, was given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 compensation for using threatening words or behaviour and assault.
