The nine places where most crime is reported to be taking place across the north of Sunderland and South Tyneside have been revealed by new figures.

The Home Office data, published on its www.police.uk website, covers Northumbria Police’s Sunderland North and East Shields, Cleadon and Whitburn policing areas.

All incidents are said to have taken place “on or near” named locations in February 2021.
