The 12 places where most crime was reported across the north of Sunderland, Cleadon, Boldon and Whitburn during April have been revealed by new figures.

The Home Office data, published on its www.police.uk website, covers Northumbria Police’s Sunderland North and East Shields, Cleadon and Whitburn policing neighbourhoods.

All incidents are said to have taken place “on or near” named locations in April 2021. March’s statistics for the north of Sunderland are available here.

1/ Park Gate: Eleven incidents, including nine of anti-social behaviour, were reported to have taken place "on or near" this location;
