A sex attacker has been jailed after he was convicted of raping a woman.

Cameron Manson, 31, of Castleford Road, in the Hylton Castle area of Sunderland, was found guilty of the charge at the High Court, in Glasgow, last month and has returned to the same court to be sentenced.

Appearing before Lord John Douglas Fairley on Friday, February 12, he was jailed for five years for committing an offence contrary to section 1 of the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009.
