The following cases from the Sunderland area were dealt with recently at magistrates’ court.

Jamie Wilson, 32, of Simpson Close, Boldon Colliery, was fined £660 with six penalty points for using a vehicle without insurance.

Gareth Ross, 40, of Lilywhite Terrace, Easington Lane, was fined £50 for breach of a domestic violence protection order.

Brian James Brown, 67, of Arnold Street, Boldon Colliery, was fined £66 with three penalty points for speeding. A previous conviction was set aside.

Graeme Evans, 51, of Queens Crescent, Sunderland, was fined £120 and banned from driving for seven days for speeding.

Alix Lisle, 26, of Sheppard Terrace, Sunderland, was fined £183 with three penalty points for speeding. A previous conviction was set aside.

Gary Anthony Rutter. 53, of Howe Square, Nookside, Sunderland, was fined £83 with three penalty points for speeding.

Michael Howard Farnsworth, 71, of The Avenue, Washington, who denied driving without due care and attention but was convicted, was fined £80 with three penalty points.
