A quick search of the car led to the recovery of two kilos of cocaine – with an estimated street value of around £80,000.

Chief Inspector Sam Rennison from the Force’s Operations Department has praised the motor patrol officers who made the arrest. She said: “We are serious about tackling serious and organised crime and will continue to work alongside our partners to disrupt those involved and bring them to justice, under the banner of Operation Sentinel.”
