Police release images of men they want to speak to after man attacked with metal poles outside Sunderland pub
and live on Freeview channel 276
Police were called to Fawcett Street just before 1am on January 7, following a report that a man had been assaulted.
A 48-year-old man had been the victim of a sustained attack outside The William Jameson pub, with two offenders using metal poles as weapons.

Hide AdPolice attended and found the injured victim lying in the street. He was taken to hospital after suffering a fractured shoulder as a result of the incident.
An investigation was launched and as part of their enquiries, officers have now released the images of two men they would like to speak to.
They were in the area at the time of the incident and could have information that can assist with the investigation.
