Police launch appeal to find man in connection with car fire in Sunderland
Police are appealing to the public as officers try to track down a man who they would like to speak to in connection with a suspected arson attack on a car in Sunderland.
Northumbria Police have launched an investigation after officers were called to an address on Scoresby Close shortly before 9pm on May 23 following a report of a car fire.
It was reported that an offender sprayed an unknown liquid over the windscreen of a vehicle parked outside of an address before setting it on fire.
Nobody was injured following the incident.
Officers have now released the image of a man who they would like to speak to in connection with the incident after he was seen in the area at the time that the car was set on fire.
