Police hunting Sunderland man wanted in connection with harassment

Detectives searching for a wanted man from Sunderland are appealing for the public’s help to trace him.

Liam Cain, 20, is wanted in connection with an investigation into alleged harassment and a crown court warrant.

Officers, who are keen to locate the wanted man, have searched a number of addressed in the Wearside area looking for the 20-year-old.

Now detectives are calling for the public to help locate Cain.

A Northumbria Police spokesman said: “Officers are keen to locate Liam Cain, 20, who is wanted in connection with an investigation into alleged harassment and a crown court warrant.

“Efforts have been ongoing to locate Cain with a number of addresses across Wearside searched.

“Now police have asked any members of the public who know his whereabouts, or who have recently seen him, to come forward with information.

“Cain, or anyone who believes they may have seen him, is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 0797525.”
