Police charge Sunderland man with disorderly conduct after Chester Road car crash
A man has been charged after a two-vehicle crash in Sunderland, which left a car overturned onto its side.
Northumbria Police confirmed on Friday, November 29 that a 45-year-old Sunderland man had been charged with disorderly conduct in relation to the collision, which happened on Chester Road.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 9pm, and the road was blocked at both ends. Four people were taken to hospital.
The man is due at South Tyneside Magistrates Court on Tuesday, December 31.
