Police appeal over 'serious public order incident' near pub

Durham Constabulary have issued an appeal over what they say is a serious public order incident which took place near the Wheatsheaf in Chester-le-Street, near the border with Birtley, on July 17 at 7.20pm.

A number of arrests have been made in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

Police ask anyone with any information to contact the investigating officer, Mal Ord from West CID team, at [email protected].
