A man has been charged after police uncovered a cannabis farm in Seaham.

Officers discovered 476 cannabis plants, and pictures show the scale of the discovery.

Kanvit Ago, of Church Street, was arrested on Wednesday, June 3, after Seaham Neighbourhood Police Team executed a search warrant.

The 29-year-old has now been charged with production of a controlled drug.

Appearing in court today (Friday, June 5), Ago was remanded in custody to reappear at Durham Crown Court in July.
