Affray, sexual assault and robbery - nine criminals from in and around Sunderland jailed in October

Here is a round up of people who were jailed for various crimes during October.
They all pleaded guilty and were jailed at Newcastle Crown Court unless otherwise stated.

5. Steven Cawood
Cawood, 43, of Lily Street, Sunderland, admitted making and possessing a total of 1,800 Category A indecent images and movies of children ; 1,110 category B and 5,567 category C. Warris, 35, of Gill Crescent South, Houghton, was found guilty of one count of sexual activity with a child and three counts of voyeurism at Teesside Crown Court He was jailed for three years, will be on the sex offenders’ register indefinitely and was also made the subject of an indefinite sexual harm prevention order to regulate his use of the Internet and contact with children Photo: NOP
