Motorist caught driving 57mph in a 30 zone in Peterlee
“Do you think 57 in a 30 zone is acceptable?” That’s the message from officers who caught a motorist doing just that.
During Tuesday, January 21’s morning rush hour, a driver was caught speeding in Peterlee.
PC Andrea Brown caught them on Essington Way, between 8.08am and 9.45am as officers continue to crack down on speeding.
A Durham Constabulary spokesperson said: “A total of 33 drivers were found to be speeding in the 30mph zone during this time when children are walking to school.”
