Motorbikes and gardening equipment worth an estimated £10,000 has been stolen in an early hours break-in at a storage business.

Durham Constabulary officers are investigating a burglary at QC Space storage facility in Cook Way, on the North West Industrial Estate, Peterlee, today, Wednesday, May 19.

A KTM and a Beta motorcycle were stolen as well as garden tools.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information that could help the investigation is asked to contact the force on 101, quoting incident number 80 of May 19.
