Man and woman arrested after police carry out drugs raid

A search warrant was used at an address in Seventh Street. Durham Police found a quantity of class A drugs, suspected stolen property and an imitation firearm.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply, possession of an imitation firearm, theft and abstracting electricity.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

Both were released under investigation while inquiries are ongoing.
