The force confirmed on Friday, June 5 that four people arrested on suspicion of murder, and a fifth person arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, remain in custody as inquiries continue into the death of a 48-year-old man in the city.
Emergency services were called to Aintree Road, Farringdon, shortly after midday on Wednesday, June 3 following reports of concern for a man.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area on Tuesday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 3 is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 389 030620.
