Damaging £4,000 of Gentoo property and a police cell - the latest Sunderland court cases

The following cases from the Sunderland area were dealt with recently at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court:

David Antony Stamp, 31, of Hedworth Court, Sunderland, was fined £40 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after admitting using threatening or abusive words or behaviour on October 25.

Daniel Howe, 26, of Ravenswood Road, Sunderland, was ordered to pay £1,764 compensation after admitting causing £4,000 of criminal damage to Gentoo property on November 22 and £264 of criminal damage to a Northumbria Police cell on the same date.

Reece Smith, 25, of Freda Street, Sunderland, was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £450 and ordered to pay a £45 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting drink driving on October 24.

Ryan Stoker, 31, of Brockley Street, Town End Farm, Sunderland, was ordered to complete 40 hours of unpaid work as part of a community order, was banned from driving for 12 months and was ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting taking a car without consent, driving without insurance and without a valid licence on November 21.

Morland Evans, 33, of Woodlands View, West Rainton, was fined £166 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting breaching a restraining order between March 14-17 and the terms of a previous suspended sentence.

Stuart Ian Heaton, 48, of St Luke’s Road, Sunderland, was fined £50 and ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting breaching a restraining order on November 9.

Reece Matthew Smith, 21, of Blaydon Avenue, Town End Farm, Sunderland, was fined £100 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting possessing cocaine on June 1.
