Police have issued an appeal for the public’s help in tracing a woman following an incident in a supermarket.

Officers want to speak to the female in the picture in relation to an incident in Aldi, in Yoden Way, Peterlee, on Saturday, August 22.

Further details about the inquiry have still to be revealed.

Anyone with any information to help Peterlee Police identify the woman is asked to contact PC2786 Martin Nicholson by telephoning 101, quoting crime reference number CRI00287513.
