Body of a woman found at Ashbrooke address

A body has been found at an address in Ashbrooke.

A police spokesperson said: “At 6.40pm last night (Sunday, December 8) we received a report of concern for a female at an address on Tunstall Vale, Sunderland.

“Emergency services attended but sadly the body of a female was found. Next of kin have been informed.

“At present it is not currently believed that there was any third party involvement. Enquiries are ongoing.

A report will be made for the coroner.”
