Billy Charlton to appear in court accused of possessing indecent images of animals and a child

William Bernard Charlton is due to appear at Sunderland Magistrates Court to face four charges.

Charlton, 55, is accused of possessing an extreme pornographic image portraying a person involved in a sexual act with a dog.

He is also facing a charge of possession of an extreme pornographic image showing an act which could cause serious injury to a person.

Charlton is also alleged to have distributed an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child and of also making an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child.

All of the alleged offences are said to have taken place in Washington between June 2018 and June 2019.

Charlton, whose address is listed on court documents as Morpeth, Northumberland is due to appear before magistrates on Wednesday, February 19.
