Assault PC, anti-social behaviour and harassment: 7 people from Sunderland appear before magistrates

Jack Lewis Daniel Ramsay, 21, of Cowdray Road, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol, failing to stop after an accident, failing to report an accident and endangering passengers. He was given an 18-month community order with 250 hours of unpaid work, banned from driving for 16 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £90 surcharge.

Denise Graham, 38, of Ethal Terrace, Sunderland, was jailed for one day after admitting assaulting a police officer. She was ordered to pay £30 in compensation.

Chris Bezuidenhout, 32, of no fixed abode, was given a 12-month community order after admitting a charge of harassment in Sunderland. They were made subject to a restraining order and told to pay £85 costs and a £90 surcharge.

John Steven Joseph Ball, 30, of Athol Road, Hendon, was fined £160 after it was proven in absence that he failed to provide driver information to the police. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a surcharge of £30 and banned from driving for two years.

Curtis Leon Caffry, 24, of Byer Square, Hetton, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention. He was fined £112 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge and was given three penalty points.Thomas Damien Ronald Brooke, 36, of Glencoe Square, Sunderland, was fined £60 after he admitted breaching a community order. He was also ordered to pay £60 costs.

Danielle Armstrong, 28, of Alnwick Road, Sunderland, was given a six-month conditional discharge after being found guilty of anti-social behaviour. She was ordered to pay a £20 surcharge.

Danny John Robert Smith, 23, of Stridingedge, Washington, was fined £80 after he admitted being drunk and disorderly. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a surcharge of £32.
