Country will survive exit

During the Second World War, people in this country sang 'Who do you think you are kidding, Mr Hitler, if you think old England's done!'

When we liberate ourselves from the EU, will it be “Got along without you before we met you, gonna get along without you now, by Viola Wills?

When our empire came to a end, we didn’t run around in sackcloth and ashes crying oh, woe are we. We are still here. When the shipyards and mines closed – we are still here.

So, if we leave the EU, will the bogie-man really get us or is that just a rumour put about by certain politicians who recognise a gravy-train when they see one?
