An appeal has been made for information following the death of a Sunderland man this morning.
Fifty-two-year-old Wayne Simms, also known as Wayne McVitie, lived in Sunderland city centre.
He was found dead in the early hours of today, Thursday, September 5.

There is no information available on his employment history or where he was from originally.
