Contact centre firm unveils 700 jobs plan for Sunderland

Contact centre specialist Parseq is to create more than 700 jobs in Sunderland.

The firm, which operates from Doxford International Business Park, plans to almost double its 1,000-strong workforce and invest a six figure sum in the development of a centre of excellence on a second site in the city.

“Our people are without question one of our most valuable assets and a main contributor to us retaining 100 per cent of all the clients we acquired with the business back in 2014 in addition to a catalogue new contracts we have introduced since.

“We are delighted to announce our continued investment in Sunderland’s rich workforce and business network.”

Parseq has pledged to invest more than a million pounds to develop the careers of its people based in Sunderland and its other UK offices in Glasgow, Rotherham, London and Brighton.

The firm employs more than 2,500 nationally and represents some of the UK’s most respected blue-chip companies including the top ten international banks, a third of the country’s utility sector, financial and insurance services.
