Cleadon theatre group announces its first production of 2026
The Little Theatre Cleadon has revealed its first production for 2026.
A Cleadon-based theatre group has announced that its first production of 2026 will be ‘Educating Rita’.
The Little Theatre Cleadon is set to perform the show between June 2 and June 6 - with performances starting each night at 7.30pm.
Starring Jeff Johnson as Frank and Sinead Linsley as Susan (Rita) White, the show delves into Rita wanting to escape from her everyday hairdressing life into Frank’s world of literature and culture.
Described as “warm and witty”, Educating Rita promises to have audiences laughing out loud along with giving them an opportunity to think about how we can all learn from each other.
Lorna Breeze is returning to The Little Theatre Cleadon as director for Educating Rita after leading the group’s sell-out run of ‘Murdered to Death’ last autumn.
Tickets cost £10 (plus booking fee) and will be on general sale from May 11.
