Cleadon Village Drama Club's production of Alan Ayckbourn's Snake in the Grass began its run yesterday until Saturday, showing each evening at 7.30pm in The Little Theatre in Boldon Lane. Tickets, £6, are available from the business manager on 4470493.

The Men’s Fellowship of All Saints’ Church meets on Monday at 7.30pm in the Committee Room of the parish hall. New members are welcome.

Soup and roll lunches are available in All Saints’ parish hall every Tuesday from 11.45am until 1.15pm. Everyone is welcome to come along for homemade soup with a roll followed by tea or coffee with homemade cake and friendly people to meet and chat with.

T’ai Chi Qigong, a beginners’ calm movement class, meets on Wednesdays from 10.45am until 11.45am in All Saints’ parish hall. The class helps improve breathing, balance and energy and you can just go along or telephone 07891 419006 for more information.

Beginners’ Pilates classes are held in All Saints’ parish hall on Mondays at 7.15pm. Tel 519 2063 for more info.

South Shields Community School Karate Club meets on Mondays from 5pm to 6pm in the school on Nevinson Avenue. All ages and abilities are catered for. Just come along or telephone Rebecca on 07979538992.

The coffee pop-in is open each weekday from 10am to noon in the Old Schoolroom, next to the parish hall. Hot beverages are available with snacks, and you can pop in for a chat, to meet people or just for a rest. Come along and see.
