Cleadon - Down Your Way

On Saturday, there will be a coffee morning in Cleadon Methodist Church hall from 10am to noon in aid of St Clare's Hospice. This annual event offers a Christmas stall in addition to the usual cakes, preserves, and books etc, plus a raffle. There is always plenty of tea or coffee, scones, biscuits and people to chat with. Go along and enjoy it while supporting this excellent charity.

Cleadon Village Drama Club’s production of Ladies Day, by Amanda Whittington, opens on Monday and continues until Saturday, November 12, in the Little Theatre in Boldon Lane. Played ‘in the round’ this promises to be an enjoyable first of the season. Tickets at £6.50 are available by ringing 0191 447 0493.

A special service for All Souls’ Day, when our loved ones are remembered, will be held in All Saints’ Church at 3pm on Sunday.
