City centre street closed off due to emergency repair work to water supply
A city centre road has been closed off to traffic while emergency repairs are carried out by Northumbrian Water.

Bridge Crescent, which is off the Wearmouth Bridge and West Wear Street, has been closed off to traffic while the company carries out work under the surface.
The issues were reported at around 11am and the repairs are expected to take until 2.15pm.
The route is used as access to Echo 24 and to Panns Bank.
