Sunderland boss David Moyes has been linked with a move for Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Kieran Lee.

But the player's boss at Hillsbrough Carlos Carvalhal says he is not worried about in-form Lee being linked with a switch away from the Championship outfit.

In fact, Carvalhal says he delighted about reports of interest from the Black Cats, which suggest Moyes is considering a January move, even if he knew nothing about it.

"I don’t know nothing about it, it’s news to me," said the Owls boss.

"I am not concerned about nothing.

"I am happy when other clubs are interested in my players, especially big clubs, or the clubs in the Premier, but nothing more than this.

"Something that I know is that Kieran Lee likes working with us and he likes being at Sheffield Wednesday."

While Carvalhal has welcomed the interest of other clubs in his players, he says Wednesday are in absolutely no mood to sell Lee, who only signed a new three year deal in the summer.

The gaffer contined: "A lot of things must happen for a player to leave the club.

"He must want, first. The club must want, another club must pay, they must agree.

"There’s a lot of things to do to move a player and it’s not easy to move a player from Sheffield Wednesday, because we are not selling players."
