Burglars have stolen lighting equipment from riding school for the disabled in Washington.

The incident happened at 9.26pm on Tuesday, October 18, when entry was forced to Washington Riding Centre in Stephenson Road.

A large metal lighting frame, with 12 heat lamps was stolen.

Police are carrying out enquiries and appealing for witnesses.
