A broken down lorry is causing major disruption on a busy roundabout junction with the A1.

The HGV is stranded on the middle of the roundabout with the A183 Chester Road and A693 Blind Lane at Chester-le-Street, causing severe delays in all directions.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
