Broken-down lorry blocks A195 at Washington
Motorists in Washington faced severe delays this morning after a broken-down lorry left a portion of the A195 Northumberland Way blocked.

The road was closed, causing tailbacks westbound between Biddick Lane junction and the A182 Washington Highway junction.
It has since reopened.
