Boss praises his fantastic team as they are nominated for a Sunderland business award

John G Hogg Family Funeral Directors is in the running for this year’s Sunderland Echo Portfolio Business Awards.

The Sunderland firm has funeral homes in Hendon, Pallion and Farringdon.

Funeral director John Hogg was “delighted” at the nomination and added: “It proves we are doing the job right.”

He praised the “hard work, dedication and professionalism of all my colleagues” and said the nomination celebrated “the excellence and professional commitment in one of the most difficult and challenging areas of serving the public”.

The competition has already attracted a string of entries and for those planning to nominate their own favourites, there’s plenty of categories to choose from.
