Bad barnets: Eleven Sunderland players who have committed crimes against hair
Former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan hit the headlines after being judge to have "unethical hair".
The 31-year-old, who is on loan at Dubai-based Arabian Gulf League side Al Ahbi, was one of 40 players found to be in breach of national rules on 'un-Islamic' hair cuts. While we're pretty sure he's the only former Sunderland player whose hair has landed him in hot water, there have been a fair few dos to raise eyebrows over the years.
