Sunderland finally secured their first win of the Premier League season today.

They did it the hard way too, with Steven Pienaar sent off. Goals from Victor Anichebe, on his first league start, and Jermain Defoe did the damage, kick-starting the Black Cats’ campaign, with Hull next up in a fortnight.
