Arson attack on car in Red House in Sunderland
A car outside a Sunderland community centre was set on fire.
It happened outside Red House Community Centre, in Rutherglen Road, on Monday just after 11pm.
A crew from Marley Park station rushed to the scene to put out the blaze.
The Mercedes car was left 50% damaged by the flames.
Officers suspect that the car was set on fire on purpose.
The police have been informed.
