Armed forces take part in Sunderland beach assault excercise during HMS Bulwark visit

Armed forces are taking part in a beach assault practice during HMS Bulwark's visit to Sunderland.

A practice beach assault involving a number of armed forces personnel, in Seaburn.

Crews from Royal Navy assault vessel HMS Bulwark, joined forces with the Royal Marines, Queen's Yeomanry and the 4th Regiment Royal Artillery, for the exercise on Seaburn beach, this morning.

Sunderland City Council have reassured the public, that any reports of unusual and potentially very loud activities in the area between 11.30am and 1.30pm today, is related to the above excercise.
