Amazing generosity
On Saturday, January 2, we held a charity collection outside the Stadium of Light prior to the game against Aston Villa.
The magnificent sum of £3,067.27 was raised.
I would like to say a very big thank you to all those supporters who donated on the day, and also to the volunteers who gave freely of their time to make this collection possible.
All funds raised by our local committee remain in the North East for the benefit of our community. A bonus was a win for the team
