New signing Ellis Harrison

After scoring a late winner for Bristol Rovers at Oxford United on Sunday, Pools boss Ronnie Moore threw the striker straight into his starting XI.

Jake Gray made way for the Wales U21 international who was paired with Saturday's match-winner Scott Fenwick.

Moore opted to go 4-4-2 with Nathan Thomas passing a fitness test on a calf problem to start on the left.
