5. Sunniside Open Studios
The first Sunniside Open Studios event takes place on Saturday, November 7. Studios and businesses across the area will be opening their doors throughout late afternoon and early evening for people to discover what they're about. | Sunderland Echo
6. Europa League games
There's two SAFC Europa League fixtures this month with Dinamo Zagreb on November 5 and Jagiellonia Bialystok on November 26. There's lot of places to catch the game across the city, including the dedicated fanzone at The Fire Station. | The Fire Station
7. Return of Santa's Ice Castle Grotto
Santa's Ice Castle Grotto returns to The Bridges from November 22 to December 24. Tickets are £2.50pp or £5pp including Magical VR Sleigh Ride. | Submitted
8. Check out a city market
There's a host of markets taking place in the city in November. This month's Sheepfolds Stables food and drink market is on November 15. A Riverside Christmas Market takes place from 1pm to 7pm on November 12 with local vendors across City Hall, The Beam and Maker Building. And the Art, Graze and Craft market is at Sunderland Central Train Station on November 14.
