Sunderland must now prepare for Tuesday's Checkatrade Trophy clash against Newcastle Under-21s - but which players will Black Cats need to keep an eye on?

We take a closer look at the Magpies' key men ahead of the meeting at the Stadium of Light, and how they've fared in the competition so far.

After impressing for the youth team, Longstaff made his Premier League debut against Liverpool last month. He also played 80 minutes during the first-teams FA Cup draw with Blackburn last time out.
The Danish teenager has been in red hot form this campaign, with 19 goals in all competitions. He has scored in each of Newcastles four Checkatrade Trophy games this season, all against Football League clubs.
Seans younger brother Matty, 18, has also caught the eye this campaign and taken his opportunities in the Checkatrade Trophy. An excellent free-kick at Grimsby helped the Magpies maintain their 100 per cent record in the competition.

Newcastles hero of the previous round. The Magpies goalkeeper made a crucial save in the penalty shootout against Macclesfield last month. He has played every minute in this years competition.
The sides skipper is often in the thick of the action and describes himself as anold-fashioned centre-back on Newcastles website. He can also play at the base of midfield to protect the back four.
The versatile forward can play anywhere across the frontline and scored for the Magpies when they thrashed Sunderland Under-23s 5-0 in August. He also has three goals and two assists in the Checkatrade Trophy this term.
